Dan Jones started his home inspection business in 1994. It started with only him completing the
inspections, answering the phone doing all the typing, filing and emptying the trash. It has grown
into a multi inspector firm with two full time secretaries handling the office aspect of the
business.
Dan is a full member of the top two home inspection
organizations in the United States and Canada. Has been certified for radon
testing and is licensed for wood destroying insect inspections in his home state of Pennsylvania.
He has traveled the country attending Home Inspection related seminars and training sessions to
improve his business and marketing skills. He has also listened to hundreds of hours of tapes and
read many books on how to become successful.
In an effort to give back to the home inspection industry, and to answer the many people who ask
him how they themselves can get into the home inspection field... he has authored this manual for
their, and your enjoyment, and for hopefully as much success as he has had in this business.
